Who is responsible. This website is run from Rechte Wienzeile 45/22, 1050 Wien, Austria. Questions about your data: use the contact form.
Contact form
When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message, and your organisation and title if you give them. We use them only to reply and, where appropriate, to discuss a professional engagement. They are never added to a newsletter or marketing list, and never sold or shared for advertising. Enquiries are kept in a private administration system as business correspondence. They are not deleted automatically; you can ask for yours to be deleted at any time through the contact form. A copy of each enquiry is also sent by email to the mailbox we use for correspondence, so that we can reply promptly. Anti-abuse checks use a short-lived, keyed identifier; your IP address is not stored with your enquiry.
Website statistics (only with your permission)
When you first visit, you can choose No, thanks or Allow statistics. Nothing is pre-selected. If you allow statistics, we measure how the website is used, so that we can understand our audience and improve the site:
- pages viewed, how you arrived (for example a search engine or a link), device and browser type, and time actively spent on the page;
- an approximate location estimated from your IP address: country, region and city. also a coarse postal area (for example the first digits of a postcode), the US media market and the network time zone. Your IP address itself is not stored;
- which performance links and press materials are opened, and whether an enquiry was sent (never what it said).
Visitors from the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked first, and nothing optional runs until they choose Allow statistics. For visitors from other countries, statistics are on by default; you can switch them off at any time under Privacy settings, and a browser privacy signal switches them off automatically. For those visitors, statistics can also include an approximate postcode estimated from the connection; it is never collected for visitors from the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland.
When statistics are on, we also use Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC. Google receives the pages viewed and device and browser information and sets its own cookies (_ga); Google Signals and advertising features are switched off. Data may be transferred to the United States under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Switching statistics off stops Google Analytics and deletes its cookies on this site.
We do not collect form contents, email addresses, GPS data or exact addresses, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking.
A separate, unticked option lets us recognise this browser for at most 30 days, to count repeat visits. It does not identify you by name, and all visits linked to it expire on that original date.
How long. Individual visit records expire after 30 days and are deleted at the next hourly cleanup. Daily totals: up to 400 days. Your choice is remembered in your browser for 180 days.
Changing your mind. Use "Privacy settings" at the bottom of any page to withdraw at any time. Your statistics for this browser are then deleted, and deletion is retried if the connection fails. If your browser sends a privacy signal (Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track), optional statistics stay off.
Who processes it. Statistics and enquiries are stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc. They are stored in the United States; transfers from the European Union rely on Cloudflare's certification under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Email copies of enquiries are sent through Resend (Resend, Inc., United States), which keeps them for 30 days, and are received in our Google Workspace mailbox (Google LLC, United States); both are certified under the same framework. Legal basis: your consent for statistics; for enquiries, replying to your request and our legitimate interest in protecting the site.
